Moments of Hygge brings the warm and joyful feelings surrounding Christmas to life, blending nostalgic charm with the magic of winter. Inspired by the Scandinavian art of coziness, and in collaboration with three amazing designers - CrochetHighway, Sari Nordlund, and Pica Pau - Hobbii’s 2026 Advent calendar options are the perfect treat for the merriest season of the year.

Throughout Advent, CrochetHighway invites crocheters to dive into a variety of texture-rich techniques. For example, you’ll master bold colorwork and play with unique geometric stitch patterns while creating a modern collection of wearable accessories and winter essentials. The patterns beautifully balance airy, light and neutral colors with soft, atmospheric contrasts.

The calendar for crocheter is made up of four bags - one for each Advent Sunday - containing all yarns needed for each of the four projects, alongside a mix of delightful surprises and tools that will brighten the season. Designed for an intermediate skill level, the four patterns will be available to download for free, launching consecutively on each Advent Sunday.

The Advent calendar doesn’t include crochet hooks. We recommend using the following sizes: 3.0 mm / US C-2 (or D-3), 3.5 mm / US E-4, 4.0 mm / US G-6, 6.0 mm / US J-10, 5.5 mm / US I-9, 7.0 mm / US K-10.5 or L-11

• The patterns in the advent calendar are designed for intermediate crocheters.

• If you order your Advent calendar alongside other products, the rest of your order will be sent separately. Don’t worry - no extra shipping costs will be added to your order.

• The Advent calendar is NOT suitable for crocheters who are allergic to wool.

• The Advent patterns will be available in English, German, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, French, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, and Polish.

• Helpful technical videos will be provided in English (with translated subtitles) for the most tricky stitches and techniques in each pattern.

• The patterns don’t include crochet charts.

• Colors may vary slightly from the photos.
