These socks are worked from the top down, featuring a striking multi-colored colorwork pattern across the leg and the top of the foot. The design is finished with a classic ribbed cuff, a contrasting boomerang heel, and a solid-colored banded toe.

The motif is created using the stranded colorwork technique with three colors, carrying the unused strands loosely across the wrong side of the work. This pattern is written for intermediate knitters who are comfortable with stranded colorwork and working in the round.
