The Aviaja hat is a onesize, feminine hat with cables. First, stitches are cast on with the Italian cast on method. Then the ribbing is worked. The ribbing is later folded to create a neat edging. Next, the stitches are divided to create cables. The cables are worked in stockinette stitch and as braids formed by cables. Decreases are worked at the top of the hat.
