May I sell finished projects based on Hobbii Design patterns?
Yes, absolutely! We love seeing our community bring Hobbii designs to life, and you are more than welcome to sell items you have personally handmade using our patterns.
Before you launch your shop or head to your next craft fair, please just review our standard guidelines below:
✅ What you CAN do
- Sell your handmade items: You are free to sell physical products made from Hobbii Design patterns at craft fairs, online shops (like Etsy), or local markets.
- Give credit: We kindly ask that you credit Hobbii or the specific designer in your product listings or on your item tags (e.g., “Pattern designed by Hobbii”).
❌ What you CANNOT do
- Use Hobbii Media: You may not use any official Hobbii marketing materials, including our product photos, model images, website graphics, or advertisements to promote your items. You must take your own original photos of your finished projects!
- Imply an Official Partnership: You cannot state or imply that you or your shop have an official association, sponsorship, or commercial partnership with Hobbii.
- Resell the PDF: The pattern itself remains the intellectual property of Hobbii. You may not distribute, copy, resell, or share the digital pattern files or written instructions.
- Go Handmade exception: Selling items based on ‘Go Handmade’ brand patterns is prohibited.
⚠️ Note: Because these items are made and sold independently by you, all customer service, pricing, and product refunds are handled entirely by yourself. Hobbii is not liable for transactions between you and your buyers.
