ABOUT THE PATTERN

Make a festive bolero for casual and formal use. Friends Extra Fine Merino and Friends Kid Silk make up the main color of the bolero. These two yarn qualities come in many lovely colors, making it possible for you to choose a festive or more subdued color combination. Candy Pop comes in three beautiful color combinations. It is a high quality yarn which gives the knitwear spark and texture. The bolero is worked top down with short rows in the back of the neck. The yoke and the body are worked back and forth while the sleeves are worked in the round.

You can choose to make the body of the bolero longer than in the pictures. Just remember that you need more yarn if you choose to do this. The bolero is worked with four strands of yarn: two strands of Friends Extra Fine Merino, one strand of Friends Kid Silk, and one strand of Candy Pop.
