PATTERN INFORMATION
Tom's Cardigan is a simple pattern with knits and purls stitches. The sweater is knitted top-down, starting turkish cast on from the middle of the back, then the shoulders are formed using German Short Rows and proceed to knitting the left and then the right front panel, including the button pleat. After increasing the stitches under the arms, the cardigan is worked back and forth to the end. The next step: sleeves - shaped the shoulders with German Short Rows again and reduce their circumference along the entire length. Finally, we add a small part of a pleat at the neck and sew on the buttons.
