This quick and beginner-friendly project offers surprising versatility, functioning as both a breezy summer/spring top and a beach cover-up. The Austen Summer Top is a top-down design, worked in rows and two panels. These panels are simply joined at the shoulders and sides. The sleeves are formed with a few rows around the armholes, and a crochet waist strap cinches the waist for a custom fit. Best of all, it requires no sewing – just crochet – and is detailed with a waist strap and bow, finished with delicate wooden beads.
